I am searching for info. on Elam HARRISON, b.1802 in Mecklenubrg Co.,
NC. His parents are unknown but mother's maiden name was McLARTY. I am
unsure of any siblings. Does anyone have Elam in their tree??
Elam HARRISON married Ellen Elizabeth FLOW. They had a daughter, Mary
Catherine who married ?SNELL and had a son, James Marion HARRISON (b.
1845) who married Jerusha HALL (b. 1848, Meck.,NC). James Marion and
Jerusha HARRISON are my husband's g.grandparents. I have the
descendants of their family but I am stumped on Elam Harrison's
ancestry.
Elam HARRISON, age 8, is named in the 1810 will of his grandmother,
Barbara MCLARTY, in Mecklenburg Co., NC. There is no mention of his
parents in the will. Grandmother MCLARTY does name other daughters &
their spouses (surnames of McBride, White, Neely, Wallace, Montgomery)
as well as a son, John McLARTY and another grandson, Alexander McBride.
I appreciate any info. or tips on this block I have reached with ELAM
HARRISON.
