One was Mitchusson's Regiment organized Nov. 10, 1814, and commanded by Lieutenat-Colonel William Mitchusson of Caldwell Co., KY who resigned and was succeeded by Lieutenant Colonel Samuel Parker. These troops were commanded by Major-General John Thomas with Brigadier General John Adair as his Adjutant General.
