Pg. 26 JAMES HARRISON of Bolton, Lancaster Co., aged about 57 years with his wife Ann, 61 years. He was a shoemaker. They sailed from Liverpool for this province in the ship "Submission", of Liverpool the 5th of the 7th month in 1682 and arrived at Choptank in MD, the 21st of the 9th month and arrived at Apoquinemene, in this province, the 15th of the 11th month. Agnes Harrison, his mother, came at the same time, aged 81 years. Children: Phebe, wife of Phineas Pemberton.
Nov. 28, 1823, Will of Colonel Littleberry Leftwich names Dan W. Harrison of Tennessee.
Jane W. Leftwich, b. April 16, 1781, married Daniel W. Harrison, Oct. 24, 1808 in Bedford Co., VA.
Pauline Anne Leftwich of 930 N. Winter St., Salem, Ore., b. 26 July 1870, married Joseph P. Harrison 31 Oct 1889.
Gen. Joel Leftwich, in the War of 1812, was at Fort Meiggs under General Harrison.
Will of Colonel Littleberry Leftwich, Bedford Co, VA; I will, bequeath and devise to my seven children: namely, Jane W. Harrison, --------------, 30th day of May, 1823.
Adelia Lake Leftwich, b. 15 Aug 1868, married Dr. Thomas Perrin Harrison (b. 11 Oct 1864) 9 Jan 1894 at Atlanta, GA. He was the son of Francis Eugene Harrison and Mary Eunice (Perrin) Harrison. His father was a Colonel of Orr's Regiment, of the SC First Regiment, in the War Between the States; he commanded his regiment at Chancellorsville. Dr. Harrison graduated at Citadel College in Charleston, SC and was an instructor there; he later went to Johns Hopkins University, where he took his Ph.D. degree in English and upon graduation went as instructor to Clemson College, SC, and from there to the chair of English at Davidson College, NC, and in 1910 took the chair of English at State College, Raleigh, NC.

James Leftwich Harrison, b. 10 Sep 1895 graduate of Univ. of NC; served in France for one year during World War as Capt. In 55th Regiment, 7th Div.; he is manager of the branch of the National City Bank of New York City; married Pauline Muggs, 15 Oct 1921. They have 2 daughters: Mildred Carrington Harrison, b. 8 Nov 1922; Pauline Leftwich Harrison, b. 12 Apr 1925. Thomas Perrin Harrison, b. May 1897, graduate of Univ. of NC; Ph.D. in English of Cornell University and is now (1927) adjunct professor in the University of Texas. Was Second Lieutenant in the 81st Div. And the 5th Replacement Regiment in World War, and was ready to go overseas when the armistice was signed.
Florence Leftwich Harrison, b. 4 Sep 1901, graduate Bryn Mawr, 1923, married Alexander McCook Dunlop, 10 Nov 1928.
Lewis Wardlaw Harrison, b. 28 Sep 1903, graduate Univ. of NC and is with Harris-orbes bond house of New York City.
