5.1 - 156 Benjamin Craven Harrison, b. 1854/8 was in the home of Thomas Harrison in White Co., Ark., in 1860 and again in 1870 but this time in Searcy Co,Ark. In Thomas’ home was a female with the initial W.,Thomas listed as age 50 in 1860, also a J. aged 50 and 2 males, C. and Thos. Benji was listed as age 2. The Benji listed in the1870 C in Searcy Co., is 12. Is this Benjamin Craven Harrison ancestor to Hugh Harrison? Hugh’s father also had a son named Wade Hampton. |

Jesse was the s/o of Jesse C. Harrison, Sr. who m. Nancy Christian in 1822. He d. in 1824 and Nancy remarried. James C. Welch became Jesse Jr.s’ step-father. William Harrison was the son of Nathaniel Harrison who lived in Shelby Co. AL from ca 1817 through 1840. Nathaniel is not shown in the 1850 census for Shelby Co., nor any of the Ala. Co. for 1850. William m. Sarah Seaman in Shelby Co., AL 6 August 1845. Will answer all letters concerning this family, and reimburse postage. |
