I am searching for the parents of my ancestor, Joseph Smiley Harrison.
He was married to Sarah Hill first, then Fannie Christenberry. He had
19 children with the two wives. I think he was born in Mecklenburg
County, North Carolina and lived there his whole life.��He may belong
to the same family as Nehemiah Harrison (wife Polly Wilson) because
Nehemiah's sister was married to a man named Jesse Smiley.��Also
"Wilson" appears as a middle name in the next couple of generations.
Has anyone found the Smiley name or my ancestor?
