I am looking for ancestors/descendants of Amos Harrison, born late 1800's. He married Clara Harris, daughter of Lucy Richardson and Douglas Harris.
1. Amos' siblings names are Obie, Blunt, Celeste, and Amanda. I do not know the name of his parents or the where they originated from.
2. Seeking knowledge of the parents of Douglas Harris. According to the oral history of our family, Douglas was owned by the McMichael family. Once freed, he settled in Independence LA, where he became a landowner/farmer. Some of his descendants are Clara, Joe, Dora, Douglas Jr, and others.
