Dear Kathy, Nancy and all:
Would like to mail you my report on all these Harrison's. A lot changes because of the wrong date of birth for Nancy Harrison who marries Gray Washington. Your entry of Dec. 23, 1791 is the date of Gray Washington and Willie Harrison bond for their marriage, probably Christmas Day. Robert Wylie Washington and Mary Washington who are mentions first in James Harrison's will, are the children of Gray and Nancy. Mary Ann, wife of James, is in all likelyhood a daughter of William Willie, Rector of Albemarle Parish in Surry Co. He names a daughter in his will who was contemporary to James. Their child Willie is a family surname not a nickname. You should remember that Gray Washington was a cousin fo Pres. George Washington, one generation removed and the family would have been very proud of that when Gray and nancy were married in 1791. William Cole Harrison, son of James and mary Ann is not right. I am descended from that line and would like to include that and the rest in writing not on this contraption.
Cousin Craig
