Thanks Lisa for the info. My Uncle Ed who is almost 91 years young
said he had heard the same thing about the "Black Dutch" being a
full-blooded indian (Cherokee in our case). I haven't seen too many of
my relatives in Union County in Georgia, but I do know there are some.
I have been concentrating so much on the East Tennessee and north
Alabama area trying to find something concrete on my dad's grandfather,
that I haven't looked too much farther than that. But, I wouldn't doubt
it in the least that you and I could be related in some manner. I'll
keep my antenna open if I find anything on your side of the family.
