Will of Henry Zettelmoyer, ca. 1852, Schuylkill Co PA
East Brunswick Township, Schuylkill county. This is my
last will and testament, and is as follows--My wife, Mary magdalene Zettelmoyer,
shall have the right over and possession of my land between my son Samuel
Zettelmoyer and Samuel Leininger as long as she lives, and after her death this
Land shall not be appraised, it shall be sold at public vendue, and the money it
brings shall be divided equally amongst my children, but each one of the
sons-in-law shall receive only one hundred dollars in his own hands and the rest
my daughters themselves shall have as their own property (in their own hands).
Further--My wife Mary magdalene Zettelmoyer shall have the right to
retain all the house furniture and personal property which she wishes to have.
Further--My wife shall have of the money to be collected as much every year as
my Executors think necessary, besides her ausbehalt (not translated).
These things above written my wife shall have as long as she lives and retains
my name.
Further--It stands in my will that my son Henry Zettelmoyer has no Deed or Draft
of his land, but he shall keep it as it has been staked off for him and as we
together measured it off, at $10 per acre.
Further--I appoint my son Henry Zettelmoyer and my son-in-law Elias Drexel
my Executors.
