This Indenture made the First day of April in the year of our Lord, one thousand eight hundred and thirty seven between Henry Seidel of the township of Ruscombmanor in the County of Berks and State of Pennsylvania Yeoman of the one part and David Zettelmeyer of the township of Windsor in the County and State aforesaid Yeoman of the other part Witnesseth that the said Henry Seidel for and in Consideration of the sum of one thousand Dollars lawful money of the State of Pennsylvania to him in hand well and truly paid by the said David Zettelmeyer at and before the ensealing and delivery hereof, the receipt whereof he doth hereby acknowledge and thereof doth acquit and forever discharge the said David Zettelmeyer his Heirs, Executors and Administrators By these Presents hath granted, bargained, Sold, aliened, enfeoffed, released and confirmed and by these presents doth grant, bargain, sell, alien, enfeoff, release and confirm unto the said David Zettlemoyer and to his heirs and assigns All that certain Messuage or Tenement and Tract of Land Situate lying and being in the township of Windsor aforesaid bounded and described as follows, to wit Beginning at a stone by land of Daniel Kelchner late Jacob Klewell’s running thence North Sixty degrees East thirty three perches to a stone, North one degree East twenty three perches to a Cherry, North eighteen degrees West, twenty eight perches to a Hickory, North eighty eight degrees West twenty two perches to a white oak, North twenty five degrees West twenty seven perches and a half to a stone by land of George Heinly late Henry Millers, South fifty nine degrees West sixty eight perches to a Blk oak, North seventy seven degrees West twenty two perches and a half to a stone by land of Ezekiel Betz late Peter Heartingon (?), South thirty four degrees West fifty nine perches to a stone, South twenty degrees East sixty perches to a stone, South six degrees East fourteen perches and a half to a stone by land of Jonas Keim and (late Geo Reigel), North fifty nine and a half degrees East fifty perches & a half, South sixty five degrees East thirty five perches to a stone in a line of J. N. Stumps land, North thirty seven and a half degrees East twenty eight perches to a stone, North forty five degrees West thirty four perches and a half to the place of Beginning, Containing Eighty Acres and one hundred and thirty eight perches neat measure. It being one of the same two tracts of Land which Henry Miller and Elizabeth his wife by Indenture bearing date the Sixth day of October A.D. one thousand eight hundred and fourteen for the Consideration therein mentioned did grant and confirm unto the said Henry Seidel, (illegible), and to his heirs and assigns forever as in and by the said in first recited indenture Recorded in the office for recording of Deeds at Reading in and for the County of Berks in Book (?) 29 page 437 the relation being thereunto had more fully at large appears. Together also with all and Singular the Houses, out Houses, Barns, stables, Gardens, orchards, Meadows, Fields, Fences, Ways, Woods, Waters, Water courses, Rights, Liberties, Privileges, Hereditaments and Appurtenances whatsoever thereunto belonging or in any wise appertaining. And the Reversions and Remainders, Rents, Issues and Profits thereof, and also all the Estate, Right & title, interest, use, trust, Property, Possession, Claim and Demand whatsoever of him the said Henry Seidel in Law or equity, or otherwise, howsoever of in to or out of the same. To have and To hold the said Messuage or Tenement and Tract of Land Situate as aforesaid Containing Eighty acres & 137 perches Hereditaments and Premises hereby granted and released or Mentioned or intended so to be, with the Appurtenances unto the said David Zettelmoyer, his Heirs and Assigns, To the only proper use and behoof of him the said David Zettelmoyer, his Heirs and Assigns forever. And the said Henry Seidel for himself and his Heirs, Executors and Administrators, doth covenant, promise, grant and agree to and with the said David Zettelmoyer, his Heirs and Assigns By these Presents that he the said Henry Seidel and his Heirs, the said above mentioned and described Messuage or Tenement and tract of Land, hereditaments and Premises hereby granted and released or mentioned or intended so to be with the Appurtenances unto David Zettelmoyer, his Heirs and Assigns against him the said Henry Seidel and his Heirs to and against all and every Person and Persons whomsoever Lawfully claiming or to claim the same or any part or parcel thereof by (illegible) or under him, them, or any of them shall and will warrant and forever Defend by these presents. In Witness Whereof, the said parties to these presents have hereunto interchangeably set their Hands and Seals dated the day and year first above written. Received the day of the date of the above written Indenture of and from the above named David Zettelmoyer the sum of one thousand Dollars in Gold and Silver Money, it being the Consideration money above mentioned in full. Heinrich Seidel. Witness present at Signing Jacob Rothermel, Jno. Deysher. Berks County ss. Be it Remembered that on the first day of April Anno Domini 1837 before me Jno. Deysher Esquire one of the Justices of the Peace of the said County, personally came the above named Henry Seidel and acknowledged the above Indenture to be his act and deed, and desired that the same might be recorded as such according to Law.
