The Ball Family Genealogy site, was created to share accurate genealogy information on all the lines I have researched, with others who may be researching the same lines. This line is that of my mother's paternal side of the family. Most are of English and Germany descendant. Most of these families are first documentated in Massachusetts, Pennsylvania, New Hampshire and Vermont. The following surname families married into the Ball family, directly or indirectly, via their descendants.
Ball, Beall, Crous, Crouse, Doyle, Fisher, Forder, Highland, Hart, Jump, McKelvey, Osborn, Montgomery, Rugg, Shatto, Shields, Simmons, Sloper, Springer, Williams, Wilson.
The majority of these family were from the Massachusetts, New York and New Jersey, New Hampshire and Pennsylvania areas, then migrating west. Some moving on to Ohio, Missouri, Kansas, Iowa, with many heading to Oregon. Many other connecting surnames are listed, all seem to be heading in the same direction.
