Proved Dec 15th A.D. 1898 David A. Pell In the name of God Amen, I Abraham Heerschap of Rochelle Park Township of Saddle River County of Bergen State of New Jersey being of sound mind memory and understanding (for which blessing I thank God), do make and publish this my last will and testament in manner following that is to say. First It is my will and I do order that all my just debts and funeral expenses be duly paid and satiffied as soon as conveniently can be after my decease. Second I give and bequeath unto my beloved wife Jannetye
Heerschap all my remaining estate both real and personal in whatever it
may consist and wherever situate to have the same during the remain of
her natural life with power to sell, encumber or dispose of the same if
necessary, and from and after her decease I give and bequeath all my remaining
estate to my children namely as follows Peter Heerschap, Martyartye wife
of Komer Voogd, Adriaantye wife of Jacob Mierop, Adrian Heerschap, Kryn
Heerschap. Martha wife of John Admiraud, Pieteruella wife of Maruius Tambaer,
Abraham Heerschap to be divided among theire share and sharealike and
to their heirs and assigns forever. Abraham Heerschap Signed published and declared by the said Abraham Heerschap to be his last will and testament in the presence of us who were present at the same time and subscribed our names as witnesses in the presence of the testator.
