Tried by court martial on the charge of Conduct prejudical to good order and military discipline, found guilty & returned to forseit all pay and bounty due him or which may become due him, to be dishonorably discharged the service of the US and to be confined at hard labor gor eight months at the Military prison at Nashville, TN; general order N° 69 Head Quarters, 3th Division 15th Army Corps, september 14th 1864.
He was received at the military prison sept. 22nd, 1864 and released may 23th 1865. Sept. 14th 1864 is accepted as the date of dishonorable discharge.
