Birth* 1438 Patrick was born about in 1438. Since he was armour bearer for James III of Scotland, he surely was born in the same general time frame as James III who was born in 1451. 
Birth circa 1446 A date of circa 1446 is sometime given for Patrick, which is possible.4 
!AInfoNew* The Hon. Patrick Forbes was armour bearer to King James III of Scotland, who gave him the estate at Corse. He founded the House of Forbes of Corse, in Aberdeenshire, from whom sprang the Forbese of Craigievar and the Earls of Granard.5 
Marriage* Patrick Forbes of Corse married Elspet.6  
Death 1462
Patrick may have died in 1462 at Scotland. Tho' it appears that he may have been llving in 1476 and some say that a son David was born ca 1478. Needs to be further investigated.7,4
