Birth ?? 967 The Hull database puts her birth at about 967 which can not be correct.5  This date seems very early but the date of 997 is LATE.

Marriage  #1
 circa 1000 Estrid married Ulf Thorgilsson, son of Thorkils Sprakalegg and Sigrid Unknown, circa 1000.1,3  
Marriage #2 1017 Some say Estrid married Richard II , 4th Duke of Normandy, son of Richard I "the Fearless" Duke of Normandy and Gunnor "not" de Crêpon, about 1017. Stammtafeln contradicts itself with reference to her. In Bund II Tafel 36 it says she married Richard II in 1017; in Bund II tafel 70 it says she married Robert I and not Richard. The Hull database shows both marriages.4,1,5   BUT

Traditionally, Richard had a third wife named Astrid (Estritha), daughter of Sweyn Forkbeard, King of England, Denmark, and Norway, and Sigrid the Haughty. This is extremely unlikely, however, given the political situation.  Not only is this marriage not likely BUT her mother is thought by many to have been Gunhilda of Poland and not Sigrid the Haughty. 
Estrid died in Denmark.2
