Birth 3 July 1656 William was born on 3 July 1656 at Windsor, Hartford county, Connecticut. His father was William Clark, the immigrant. Came on the "Mary and John" in 1633. Was in Dorcester by 1636. Removed to Northhampton 1659.

The father was Deputy, Lieutenant, and on Special Commission to the General Court - Founders and Patriots - Colkot
Last will 10 July, proved 30 Sept,1690. - Pioneers of Mass - Pope

His mother was Sarah Cooper or Sarah Strong. (disagreement among researchers....may be ONE woman).1
Some say that the Elder William married Sarah Strong about 1636 and the marriage to Sarah Cooper was in November of 1676
Marriage 15 July 1680 William Clark, 24 years old, married Hannah Strong, who was 21 years old, daughter of Elder John Strong and Abigail Ford, 15 July 1680 in Northampton, Hampshire county, Massachusetts.1

 
Death 9 May 1725 William died on 9 May 1725 at Lebanon,  New London county, Connecticut at age 68.1
