Clarke

I am researching CLARKE from the parishes of Eye and Westhall, Suffolk.

William CLARKE, a widower, married Mary STANNARD, bc 1761, in Eye, Suffolk on April 13, 1789. Mary STANNARD's family appears to be in the Eye records all the way back to the beginning of the parish's record-keeping.

William CLARKE and Mary STANNARD have the following children.... that I have found so far. I suspect their are others.

Samuel....bc 1790. Married Elizabeth LOW. Died 1822.
Martha....bc 1792. Married Robert LOW. Died 1875.
Isaac....bc 1794. Married Sarah COOPER. Died 1823.
Mary....bc 1794. Had three children in Westhall with the surname of CLARKE.
Danford John....bc 1797.
Hannah....bc 1799. Died 1884. (My great great great grandmother). Married William GOODRUM.
Thomas...B.1805 Westhall.
Charlotte....bc 1810. Married Samuel REDGRAVE.

The children of Hannah CLARKE and William GOODRUM are listed on the GOODRUM page.

William CLARKE died in Westhall in 1811.
Mary CLARKE nee STANNARD died in Westhall in 1856.
