These transcriptions are intended as a guide only, and are as seen by me in the parish registers.  The spellings are as perceived so please check for alternate spelling for any given name. Some of the registers are in poor condition and a bit of guesswork is involved in some cases.  Some years are missing. I CAN ACCEPT NO RESPONSIBILITY FOR THE ACCURACY OF THESE TRANSCRIPTIONS AS THESE ARE INTENDED AS A GUIDE ONLY. Please check original sources, as always.     Gordon Warrington

These transcriptions are from the Bishops Transcripts mainly with later ones Parish Registers

Baptisms 1561-1854

Marriages 1561-1888

Burials      1561-1854

Note that the dates shown are as in the Registers.   Up to 31st December 1751 the year started on Lady Day [the vernal equinox] on March 25th.    .From 1st January 1752 the Gregorian calender was officially introduced, the one currently used today.  However, to bring the dates into line with the rest of the world 11 days had to be omitted. Thus 2nd September 1752 was followed by 14th September 1752.
