The Henley Brothers and Paden Company was a general store located in Hillsville, Pennsylvania in the late 1800s.

 

 

Lettie (Henley) Harlan

Lettie (Henley) Harlan graduated from Fayette College in Fayette, Ohio in 1888. Her commencement speach was on Woman's Aim and then a few years later she was admitted to Dixmont Insane Asylum.

 

 

 

Matthew Henley and Wife

Matthew Henley was born in the 1800s and had seven children, six of which survived to adulthood. He immigrated from Herefordshire, England in 1841 to Hillsville, Pennsylvania. He lived with his son until his death.
