Graduated from Dartmouth College.

1841 - 1843

Tutored at Dartmouth.

1843 - 1844

Taught at Hartford, CN Grammar School.

1845

Entered Union Theological Seminary.

1847

Called to pastor the Congregational Church at Eastport, ME.

March 1849

Ordained Congregational minister at Eastport,   Maine.

1850

John Wittlesy Huntley born to Henry E. Parker's future wife by previous marriage.

January 18, 1850

Called to pastor South Congregational Church, Concord, NH.

1853

Mary Elizabeth Huntley (Lizzie) born to Mary E. Brackett Huntley by previous marriage.

April 22, 1856

Married Mary Elizabeth Brackett Huntley, Lansingburgh, NY.

Oct 23, 1857

Daughter Bertha born,  Died a few days later.

Feb 26, 1860

Son Henry Horatio born.

June 10, 1861

Enlisted as Chaplain with 2nd NH Regiment in Civil War.

August  5, 1862

Discharged from Army.

March 1865

Daughter Alice born in Concord, NH.

September 1865

Traveled through Europe for six months.

Moved to Hanover NH to teach Latin at Dartmouth College.

1869

Appointed Professor of Latin at Dartmouth.

1869

John Wittlesy Huntley died of Drowning accident in Connecticut River at age 19.

1877

Took daughter Lizzie to Bermuda for the winter   for her health.

1877

Alice Parker goes to live with Aunt Mary Morse  Parker & Uncle Joel Parker in Cambridge, MA.

August, 1879

Lizzie Huntley Parker died of consumption, age 25.

July, 1882

Mary E. Parker, wife of Henry E. Parker, died in Hanover, NH.

1887

Traveled with daughter Alice to Europe and the Middle East while on sabbatical from Dartmouth, visiting England, Palestine, Egypt, Syria and Greece.

1890

Retired from teaching at Dartmouth.  Appointed Professor Emeritus.

1893

Alice Parker married to Benjamin Tenney.

1893

Moved from Hanover to Boston to live with Alice & Benjamin Tenney.

November 7, 1896

Henry E. Parker died in Boston, MA.
