boys with their mother, from left to right; Len (a pilot ace in W.W.1), Clem,
who became a secular priest, (Westminster and Hertford), Martin (though he
was known as Doug) and Sydney (known as Sam or Bill). They were members of the 'Rochford
House Plants' family which was very well known at one time. Martin was the
youngest.
They all served in W.W.1 and survived.
