Subject: Re: Ford Cemetery
Dear Pat,
Thank you so much. You have found the grave of four of the relatives I was seeking. Could you please look for one more grave for me?
Details are;
I think : Ford cemetery
Name : Johanna (Jinny) Webster (née Byrne)
Death : 1 Apr 1997
Age : 89
Born : 14 Jan 1908
I think Jinny is buried with her husband : John Webster (don't know any dates for him).
Finally, I wonder would you know if the 'owner' of a grave needs to be the person who bought it or is ownership transferred when that person dies? I ask because the only John Byrne (owner of the grave below) I know was born in 1941 (after the first death below) but he does live in UK.
Many thanks, once again.

Dear Pat,
I wondered if your Ford Cemetery records have one for a William Anthony Monaghan - people in the family who were children when he died think it might have been there he was buried.
He was born in 1877 and died around 1946 - as a granddaughter born around 1942 remembers herself being quite small when he died.
His wife Mary lived 'a few years longer' - that's as much precise detail as I have at the moment, but I think around 1952.

Hello Ron.
I am told that Bridget Doyle died at St Augustine's Nursing Home, Liverpool in November 1940 and was buried at Ford Cemetery.
I wonder if this nursing home may have been somewhere in St Augustine's parish?
Bridget was my wife's great grandmother. I would be grateful of any information or guidance that you may be able to give.
Thank you.

Subject: St Albans Marriage Registers
Hi Patrick
I have received a letter from a Mr Anthony German who is trying to trace his great grandparents Edward German and Ann Seeray. The marriage appears in FreeBMD in March quarter 1871 (Liverpool 8b/331) and I assume he has a copy. However, he says "Is there any chance St Albans records registering the marriage of my gt/gps Edward & Ann Seerey January 1871 show his Irish birthplace - if not his sister Catherine to John Kelleher 1882 have such information. "(sic)
He also mentions that "Your microfiche of St Albans R C church baptism and marriage records have been excellent in building my family tree 1871 onwards."
I am aware that the Society are shown as the owners of the St Albans marriage index but I assume that Mr German would need to search the original registers to find out anything further. Or did the original transcribers keep a full record - if so who should I contact?
Thanks for any help you can provide.

Subject: searching for Mary Russell
Hello there
I wonder if you can help me. I'm in the process of searching for my great
grandma's burial plot. For my nana to go and visit her as she has never seen
the grave.
I came across the website online and got the e-mail address. Hope you don't
mind. The only information we have managed to gather so far is that she
should be buried in The Ford Cemetery ( Liverpool RC) And it could even be
plot 192 though we are not sure.
The name of my grandma was Mary Russell. She died in 1953 and her last
address was Nyland Road in Huyton.
I hope you can help as it would be a real treat for my nana to finally see
her mothers grave and pay her respects.
Thanks a lot... I hope to hear from you soon
Yours hopefully

I have been trying to ascertain a record of a death of Ann Sephton ( Sefton ) who died in about 1868/75 in the Liverpool area, I note from the internet that you have listed BMD's for 1841 and I wonder if you could advise were I could examine the records for St. Anthony's RC Church for this period.
Any assistance would be appreciated.
Kindest regards,
STANLEY SEPHTON.
