James Larkin Higginbotham, son of Lieut. Benjamin Graves Higginbotham and
Mary Foster "Polly" Lollis, was born in Green Co., AL 10/10/1828. James died
05/31/1913 in Noxubee Co., MS, at 84 years of age. His body was interred
06/02/1913 in Noxubee Co., MS, White Cemetery.
He married Margarett Elizabeth Thomas in Noxubee Co., MS, 05/19/1850. Margarett
was born in Green Co., GA 05/14/1829. Margarett was
the daughter of Isaac Thomas and Elizabeth ?.
Margarett died 10/21/1898 in Noxubee Co., MS, at 69 years of age. Her body was
interred 10/23/1898 in Noxubee Co., MS, White Cemetery.

Commodore Columbus "Commie" Higginbotham was born 03/09/1859.
George Washington Higginbotham was born 02/09/1861.
Andrew Jackson Higginbotham was born in Noxubee Co., MS 04/05/1866. Andrew
died 09/01/1877 in Noxubee Co., MS, at 11 years of age. His body was interred
09/03/1877 in Winston Co., MS, White Cemetery.
Joseph E. Johnson Higginbotham was born 01/03/1868.
