First of all I want to thank Miriam, my wife, for putting up with me the past 13 months.

Thank you Kim.  You're obsession with details and you're relentless pessimism drove me on.

Thank you Chuck for letting us trash your joint Friday night.

Thanks to all who helped us make this reunion another success.

Warren, KP & Phil....it's said that you play golf to the level of your competition.

Thanks for dragging me down to your level.  It was a humbling experience.

Bill Higginbotham

Bill, we learned that "anal" and "detail" personalities really DO work well together.

Your positive replies always made me laugh and kept me going.

I'm counting on your print being hung perfectly straight!

Thanks Steve for standing in at the check-in tables when Bill and I needed to be somewhere else. Thanks also for painting the "mystery gift", making the "donation box", and helping to assemble the booklets. Mostly, thanks for listening to me worry for MONTHS.

Thanks Chuck for your kind words and support, and to Jill and Richard for braving the "nametag" table. Also, thanks to Shirley Fitzgerald Redman ('72) who made sure we had anything we needed at Venture.

Warren; Steve is buying the next round
Eddy; you haven't changed a bit and it was fun going though the "old pictures", especially the one practicing in my front yard; your daughter is beautiful
Kathi, Fonda, Libby; what can I say? The hour I finally sat down was the best!!!
Dave; I still think you're the "Dick Clark" of the class
Steve S; thanks for the review of the old black and white boat photos; Steve says "hello"
Ralph; what great conversations and laughs we had; the next one's on Steve
Chris; don't forget to send me that picture of the "Christmas" dress; tell Robin Steve says "hello"
Vicky; I enjoyed our stories of the "old" days
Kathy; take care of that "puppy"
Steve T; can Steve borrow your shoes?
Kathi; call anytime
....and on, and on, and on (before I get TOO detailed!!!)
Special thanks to all who made comments.

Our goal was for everyone to have a good time, and if we did that, then we succeeded.

Everyone take care, be safe, and keep in touch.

Kim Dunkle Frame
P. S. Remember when attending an event involving tickets, bring your reading glasses!!!

Bill,

Just wanted to tell you it was great seeing you again and wanted to let you know how much I love our website.

You are awesome!!  Thanks again for taking the time to put this together.  I have the best time just browsing this website.

Thanks for the memories they will last forever.

Hello...

I am sorry that I wasn't there. I am sure that all of you had a good time. It was my intention to be there, but my work prevented me from it.

I tried everyway in the world to get there, but my job is a seasonal one.

I am 48 now, have the greatest wife one could ever want, and two dogs that would drive you nuts. Two Shitzus...Meeka and Kayla.

Hell, I am paying my price with those two LOL.

I hope to stay in touch, as I miss St. Albans and everyone there. I was back for July 4th for my dads cookout, and a lot of memories surfaced. The new high school looks like it is going to be spectacular. My heart and soul will always be with the Red Dragons 1973.

Bill and Kim - Thanks again for all the hard work you put into making this reunion a success.

I had a blast. It was great to see everyone again. I hope we can get many of the no-shows out in 2013.

Eddy - good luck with that new career as DJ.

Chris - where on earth do you get that energy?

Bill, Kevin, Phil - thanks for proving to me that I'm not the only one who sucks at golf.

Vicky - I'll be watching my mailbox for my invitation to your next boat party.

My favorite quote from the 2 days came from Ed Reich who said "Warren, you've really changed...you're smart."

Thanks again. Best wishes to all.

Warren Perry

Great job on the pics, Rick (except for the one that sucks)….lol (no more side views please).

Great to see everybody after 30 years!  It was the first reunion I went to as a planned event.

Some of you GUYS actually look BETTER than way back then (especially Ralph)….and you ladies, amazingly still beautiful.

Bill, fantastic work on the yearbooks and the web site….Remember the next challenge…to take the group picture and make it a clickable “now and then”.

Richard Filbin, you haven’t changed a lick except for not partying as much.  And I still think “Mr Miles” is a hitman with a smile.

Good job Kim for all your work.  Anytime anybody wants to come to the balmy Charleston, South Carolina, let me know….All I did was change zip codes and the mountains are still only 3 hours away.

Virginia R., keep on singing.  Beth E., God Bless.  Mary Wood, we’re neighbors.

Thanks to the 30th class reunion committee.  The reunion was a great success
and your hard work was very much appreciated.  I almost changed my mind and
didn't attend.  I'm glad that I didn't.  All of the rest of us need to
contact other classmates who didn't attend and see if we can get an even
greater turn out for our 40th.  See you in 2013!!!

Kim and Bill,

Life goes by so quickly for all of us, it is so good
to take the time to reach out and see those who touched
our lives along the way.

St. Albans is such a wonderful city, a great place to
raise a family, and a great place to go back to and
see friends and family . . . . .

Your efforts for our reunion were above and beyond the
normal. All of us are so thankful for all you did and
the memories of this past weekend will live on for
many more years.

Just wish more would have joined us, that's all!!!!!!!!

Hope this week is full of rest and relaxation for both
of you--- and, thanks again for a great weekend!!!

What a great weekend we had in St. Albans!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It was good to see everyone, whether we ran together
in high school or just to know we were part of a great
class of St. Albans tradition . . . . .

The ladies all looked great and youthful (that kills
me) and us guys have lost our hair and look years
older than the gals!

What a job the committee did, especially Kim Dunkle
and Bill Higginbotham! thanks for all the effort
behind the scenes along the way.

Chris Shaw, where do you get all that energy?????

To the St. Francis school friends who all of us spent
the twelve years together, Clint Tabit, Eddie Reich
and Mike LeRose, LeAnn LeRose- great to see you
folks...(remember Sister Devota!!!)(wish the others
had showed!)

Most of all, to the spirit of '73, a class of all
classes, and to the memories of the most wonderful
small town in America- St. Albans . . . we do hail thee!!!!

Not to forget those who have gone on, much too soon...
these classmates we sure do miss.

Until we may meet again . . . .

We're still as bad as we can be, we are the class of 73

All

It's obvious that Rick Lee slipped in some of his celebrity
glam-shots and passed them off as 48-year-old members of the SAHS class of
'73. No 48- year-olds look as good as the people in Rick's photos !

Or maybe Rick's just such a great photographer that he can make
people look better at 48 than they looked at 18 !

And, Rick, that is, by the way, the job of a photographer - to make
people look better than they really look.

      Great pics. Everybody looks great.

Joseph Higginbotham

I want to thank you and Kim so much for all the hard work that went into making our 30-year reunion a success. The only downside was that everything was so well planned and organized you'll probably be in charge again the next time it rolls around. I'll be glad to help out if there's anything that I can do from here in Savannah. Also, I appreciate the effort that you put into the SAHS1973 web site - I know that being a webmaster can become time consuming but I really enjoy all the football, basketball, classmate, etc. articles and updates.

Sincerely,

Tom Sanderlin

Thanks from the bottom of my heart for all of the hours of hard work and dedication to you
both, Kim and Bill. Without your efforts, we would have missed out on the wonderful memories
we made at our 30th reunion!!
My daughter, Julie, laughs at me because I am in front of the computer for hours now looking
at the pictures and reading the web site e-mails. I had soo much fun--I didn't want it to end.
I hope there is another reunion next year. I'm seriuos. Bill and Kim have done such a great job getting
addresses, we should just start planning one now!! Just let me know!! Kim and Bill need a break, but the
rest of us old folks could put on our reading glasses and plan one. Let me know!!
I am so proud to be from the class of '73! We are the best---and always will be!
Thank you all for your love, hugs and kindness! You are the best!! God Bless and bring us
all together again soon---

Love,

Jill Fisher Justice

I just wanted to thank you for putting the reunion pictures on the web site. I am really sorry I couldn't go but I get to see everyone thanks to you. Looks like everyone had a good time.

I am also glad you put in the names as a few had me puzzled. I hope I can get to the next one.

Thanks again and I would love to hear from all of you.

Bill, Kim, Jill, Ralph, Rick, Chuck, Merritt (did I miss anyone???)

Considering this was the first time I have seen any of you since June 9th, 1973, and being my first reunion ever, I was very impressed. It was great and I will have this memory for ever if I don't attend another.

I really enjoyed Friday night the best, and the 1973 beer prices were great. I also enjoyed staying in Charleston at the Marriott and being at the hotel so I could roll into my bed after the Saturday night event. I understand Eddy Miles rented a limo and the party continued somewhere else?? Janet, Fred, Len & myself went to the Jacuzzi at the Hotel.

Janet & I ran into Jill in the elevator when we were trying to rob the vending machine on the 3rd floor. We had our SAHS 1973 T Shirts on, mine actually fit! Thanks for the goody bag! The Reunion Book was impressive also.

Take care and you guys have my e-mail address at home and at my office. It was great seeing all of you!

Sincerely,
Charlotte Hereford-Blackburn

Random thoughts about our 30th:

The reunion committee did a great job, thanks, especially Bill and Kim! I had a great time...If you weren't able to make it, you missed a good time, and we missed you.....

Kim,
I wanted to write and let you know that I had received the box of SAHS things that you sent. That was a great surprise. Thanks!
I also wanted to let you, Bill, and whoever else worked so hard to pull off the reunion, know how much I appreciated all your hard work. I wasn't there, but I still felt a part of it and I loved looking through my directory to see what was going on with everyone. I wish more people would have written in, though. I thought about people and events that I hadn't thought about in a long time and it was fun.

Thanks, again, for everything.
