    Funeral services for Lucious M. Wells, 65, of Romeo, were conducted Saturday from the
    Blackmore & Tubbs Funeral Chapel in Mayville with burial in East Dayton Cemetery. The
    Rev. Kendall Dennis officiated.
    Mr. Wells died last Thursday in Romeo. He was born at Caro Oct. 12, 1906 and resided the last
    11 years in Romeo. He was born and raised in the county and farmed here until his retirement. He is survived by two daughters, Barbara Shank and Virginia Villaire, both of Mt. Clemens; sisters, Mrs. Lenore Teller of Cass City, Mrs. Nellie Reid of Romeo; Mrs. Annabella Militzer of Toledo, Ohio; Mrs Mary Giroux of Flint; Mrs.
    Betty Meitz of Silverwood and a brother, Robert Wells of Mayville.

    Lenora Z. Teller, 81, of Caro, died July 29 at Caro Community Hospital, Caro.
    She was born Sept. 22, 1908, in Dayton Township, Tuscola County.
    The former Lenora Wells was a member of the Caro United Methodist Church and a past member of the Trinity United Methodist Church in Cass City, where she taught nursey school classes for many years. Also a den mother for the Cass City Boy Scouts and a member of the Eastern Star, she retired from the General Telephone Company in 1973.
    She is survived by 2 sons and their wives,; 5 grandchildren and one great-granddaughter; 2 sisters, Mrs. Charles Militzer of Toledo, Ohio and Mrs. Leo (Betty Jo) Mietz of Fla; and several nieces and nephews.
    Preceding her in death were 3 brothers and 3 sisters.
    A memorial service for Teller was held Saturday at Collon Funeral Home, Caro, with Rev. Michael Ingersoll officiating.

    ROBERT SHERMAN WELLS
    1918 -1978
    Robert Sherman Wells, age 59, of Mayville, died suddenly Monday, May 15, at Lapeer County General Hospital.
    Robert Wells was born November 12, 1918 in Indianfields Twp., the son of Joseph H. and Lilly (Byington) Wells. He married Veronica May Lyman in Lake Orion on Nov. 23, 1939 and has always lived in this area. Mr. Wells was head custodian at the Mayville High School for 18 years and also at the Caro Regional Center. He was a former member of the Village Council, an inactive member of the Mayville Fire Department and a member of the Retired State Employees Association.
    He leaves his wife; two daughters; a son; 7 grandchildren and 5 sisters.
    Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday at the Blackmore and Tubbs Funeral Chapel. Rev. Donald Lichtenfelt of Disco United Methodist Church of Utica will officiate and burial will be at Dawn Memorial Estates Cemetery, Lapeer.
