  Alice Blanche Wells, 94, of Grayville, died Friday, Nov. 11, 2011, at Wabash Christian Retirement Center in Carmi.
  
  She was born Oct. 13, 1917, in Tulsa, Okla., the daughter of George and Florence (Frost) Wentworth. She was a homemaker and member of First Christian Church in Grayville. She enjoyed cooking and working in her yard.
  
  Survivors include two brothers, Kenneth (Betty) Wentworth of Sacramento, Calif., and George Wentworth of Virginia, Minn.; grandson Richard (Susan) Mode of St. Louis, Mo.; a special daughter-in-law, Jane (David) Hammell of Crossville; and several nieces and nephews.
  
  She is preceded in death by her parents, George and Florence Wentworth; husband, Cecil E. Wells; son, Jimmy Lee Wells; sister, Dorothy Greer; and two brothers, Bob and Bill Wentworth.
  
  Visitation and funeral are Monday, November 14, at Cook Funeral Chapel in Grayville. Visitation is at 10 a.m. and funeral at 11 a.m. Burial will be in Oak Grove Cemetery in Grayville.
