    • Mrs. N. J. Keel, aged 55 years, died at the residence of her daughter, Mrs. Smith, on East Peru street, Thursday evening, June 23, from inflammation of the stomach. Mrs. Keel arrived at her daughters about five weeks before her death and intended going west to visit another daughter.

    • After her demise, Dr. Cunningham, in the presence of all the physicians of this city, with the exception of Dr. Palmer who was confined to his home by sickness, performed an autopsy upon the body. Several of the internal organs were found to be in a more or less degenerated condition, more particularly the gall receptacle, from which he extracted forty-eight stones ranging in size from a bean to a large-sized shell bark hickory nut. Dr. Cunningham says this was the most interesting case that has come under his observation during his professional career and that it is a subject fraught with unusual interest to the medical fraternity and to those who are similarly afflicted.

    • The funeral ceremonies were held at the M. E. church Saturday afternoon. Rev. Strobridge officiating, after which the remains were taken to Oakland where the casket was deposited in a hermetically sealed, burglar-proof grave vault. The deceased leaves a husband and three children, two daughters and a son, in bereavement.

Last seen in the 1920 census for Chicago, Ill. In the 1870 census, it appears that her name could have been Louisa, who was born in 1865 to Ransom and Adaline Wells.

(Note: Ransom Wells had two wives name Adaline. His first wife died in 1854. His third wife was Adaline Gresham who who was born 1828 and died after 1880.)

Was wondering if her name could have been Louisa Leona possibly???
