She was a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Inc. She retired from the Louisiana Department of Health and Human Resources. After Hurricane Katrina in 2005, Andryetta relocated to Baton Rouge and joined Imani Temple Christian Congregation under the leadership of her son, the Rev. Marlon N. Yarbrough. In March 2008, she became a faithful member of the Without Walls Community Church under the guidance of Bishop Sammy D Kennedy Jr. in Dallas. Upon her return home, she along with her Baton Rouge family, became members of the New Gideon Baptist Church family under the leadership of Pastor Thomas N. Bessix.

Their children are Jack, Henry and Hayes Daly and Dylan Wells, Jr. and Amelia Wells. Hazel Wells was the daughter of Natalie Rabelais Ducote and Arthur Ducote, both deceased. Hazel's brothers and sisters are Irvin Ducote and Mable Ducote Rodriguez.
