  She is preceded in death by her husband, Frank Provost; her parents, Fred and Esther Wells; two sons, Randy Provost and Michael Provost; a grandson, Jason Provost; a sister, Shirley Wells Williams and a brother, Fred Wells, Jr.
  
  Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 26, 2012 at Poole-Ritchie Funeral Home from 9:30 a.m. until the Funeral Services at 2:00 P.M. with Rev. Patrick Magee officiating at Poole-Ritchie Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at Pounds Cemetery

  LONACONING - Mrs. Sarah Ravenscroft, 73, died yesterday in Ambridge, Pa.
  She was a member of the Daughters of America and was preceded in death by her husband, Allan Ravenscroft.
  Survivors include three sons, David Brown, Pontiac, Mich.; John Brown, Lonaconing, and Allan Ravenscroft, Pontiac; two daughters, Mrs. Helen Beeman, Ambridge, and Mrs. Catherine Matthews, Huston, Texas; two brothers Robert and William Wells, Both of Lonaconing; 11 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
  The body will be at the Eichhorn Funeral Home here after 7 p. m. today. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m.

  Hilda graduated from Damascus High School (1934) and later moved from Montgomery County (with husband, Alton Warfield) to Baltimore County where the work was more plentiful during the depression years. They worked at the Glen L. Martin plant until a tragic accident took the life of her husband and she was a widow at an early age with two children, Joseph and Jeanne.
  She then went to work at Black & Decker and continued there for 31 years where she met and married Milton Wells. She enrolled in courses at the University of Maryland and Towson State in Business Management which enabled her to more to an advanced position of bookkeeping at Black & Decker.
  She wished to be cremated and her ashes will be interred at the Prospect Hill Cemetery in Towson next to her husbands, Alton and Milton. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
