  CHAMPION - Virginia Wells Davis, 86, of Champion and formerly of Kinsman, passed away Wednesday night, Oct. 30, 2013, at St. Joseph Health Center, Warren.
  
  She was born Oct. 29, 1927, in Burghill, the daughter of Elmer and Eva Mizner Wells.
  
  Virginia was a 1945 graduate of Vernon High School. She was a housewife all of her life. She enjoyed canning, quilting and attending church activities with her husband.
  
  She married Carlyle Wilmer Davis on June 6, 1947. He passed away Oct. 1, 2012.
  
  She is survived by three daughters, Joyce (Otis) Taylor of Johnston, Judith (Jerry) Wells of Pittsburgh and Karen (Leo) Lynagh of Geneva; two sons, Ronald Davis of Alliance and Terry (Linda) Davis of Johnston; eight grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; one sister, Jane (Ed) Meloni of Johnston; and three brothers, Earl Wells of Mecca, David Wells of Vernon and Richard Wells of Sacramento, Calif.
  
  She was preceded in death by two sons, Allen and Leonard Davis; three brothers; and two sisters.
  
  A memorial service will be 11 a.m. Monday at the Hartford United Methodist Church, 6846 state Route 305, Hartford. A gathering of family and friends will be held from 10 a.m. to the time of the service.
  
  Burial will be in Kinsman Cemetery.
  
  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the donors favorite hospice.

  NILES - Mrs. Lillie Mae Wells, 88, formerly of 572 Dakota Ave., Niles, died Saturday at 2:15 a.m. at Camelot Arms Nursing Home in Youngstown of Alzheimer's disease.
  
  She was born April 2, 1901, in Rowan County, Ky., a daughter of Robert and Mary Belle Thornsberry Stegall, and came to Niles in 1929 from Kentucky.
  
  She was a member of Faith Baptist Church in Niles.
  
  She is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Ruby Raschilla of Niles; one sister, Mrs. Vada Jones of Niles; four grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
  
  She was preceded in death by a son, Ernest Wells; two daughters, Miss Mary Lou Wells and Mrs. Jewell Velican; three brothers, Estel, John and Allie; three sisters, Miss Alice, Mrs. Ada Boggs and Mrs. Ida McCormick, and two grandchildren.
  
  The funeral will be Tuesday at 11:30 a.m. at Holeton-Yuhasz Funeral Home....
