    Services Held For Mr. Wells – Former Resident Died In Erdheim, PA.: Local Activities – Funeral services for Everett S. Wells were held in the First Hopkinton Seventh Day Baptist Church yesterday afternoon at 2 o'clock. Rev.William L. Burdick officiating. Internment was in Oak Grove Cemetery,bearers being Nathaniel D. Wells, Forest A. Wells, William R. Wells, NathanielG. Wells, Lawrence M. Shaw and A. Lloyd Briggs. Everett Stillman Wells, who died in Erdenheim, PA,June 10, was the eldest son of the late William R. and Paulin R. Wells and was born in Ashaway August 12, 1881. When he was a young man, Mt. Wells became a textile designer of worsted goods and later held responsible positions as superintendent of mills in New England. Since 1927 he had resided in Philadelphia and for the past 12 years had conducted a garage business in Erdenheim, PA.Mr. Wells was a Mason. He is survived by his wife, the former Susie Clarke Lewis, three sons, William R., a technical sergeant in the Army Air Forces' James L. a licensed officer in the Merchant Marine; and Nathaniel G.; three daughters Lois C (Mrs. John Brett), Pauline S.and Nancy N, a lieutenant in the Army Nurse Corps; and two grandchildren,Jonathan Everett and Suzanne Ruth Brett. Mr. Wells also leaves four brothers,William R of California, Forest A of Beverly,Mass, Nathaniel D. of Hackensack, NJ and Elliot E. of Ashaway, three sisters, Mrs. Sylvia W. Eccleston of Westerly,Mrs. Orpha Gardiner of Wickford and Mrs. Dorothy W. Van Sickles of Rockaway, NJ

Shaw of Providence, called hereby the funeral services for Everett S. Wells, were guests of Mr. and Mrs.Elliot Wells, and returned home late yesterday afternoon.     WELLS -- Lewis Wells, aged 83 years, a resident of this city for the past 40 years and a veteran of the Civil war, former member of Company C, 22Nd New York Regiment, died today at his home, 113 School street. He leaves two sons, Frank F. and William Wells, both of this city; 14 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.

    His funeral notice was published the next day in the same newspaper.

    WELLS -- The funeral of Lewis Wells will take place tomorrow morning at 7 o'clock from his home, 113 School street. High mass of requiem at St. Jean Baptiste church at 8 o'clock. Burial in St. Bernard's cemetery [sic] Keene NH. Funeral arrangements in charge of Undertaker Amedee Archambault & Sons.

    His wife, Adeline Wells nee Patenaude, died 3 Jan., 1918 in Lowell, MA and was buried 5 Jan., 1918 at St. Joseph Cemetery in Keene, NH.
