Swedish Christmas
Christmas Recipes and fun

This great site has lots of icons, clipart and other fun things for Windows and Mac. The basic theme at this site is Swedish stuff, but there is also lots of other things. There is one page about Sweden and one about Vikings, spend some minutes and read about Sweden and about the Vikings. You can also find Viking icons, and all sorts of other Swedish icons there. Thanks to Magnus for sharing his creations. ACKNOWLEDGEMENTS will be cited when used on my pages.

See also his The Swedish Archipelago - wonderful Winter pictures from the Swedish archipelago.

Tack så mycket, Magnus!

Images of Kumla -( this site). Judy sent me copies of her grandmother's postcards from 'Home' to be used at my Web Site. A big THANKS to you Judy!

~ Summer 2000 ~

Judy Eggers took a trip to Sweden in early summer and made a special trek in my behalf to seek out the Larsson family farm of Långälla in Kumla socken where her family also orginated. She found it and took photos of where the house once stood and the road which now bears the name of the family farm, "Långällagatan". She also brought me back a whole package of special memorabilia about the farm and community nearby, including lots of wonderful photos and even some little stones found on the old farmlands.
The wonderful story of her trip will soon be uploaded,

as well as

the NEW Kumla images, modern counterparts of the ones she sent me before dated around 1900. She had quite an adventure!
Thank you so much, Judy or as they say in Sweden, "Tack så mycket!" - Thank you much.
