Booker was one of the middle children of Bob and Polly (Webb) Blaylock. He was born in 1880 and on September 7, 1904, married Maude Nethery. Booker made his living farming. They had three children together over the next six years. But in 1910, at the age of 30, he caught pneumonia and died. Maude married again after Booker passed away Jim Honeycutt, with whom she had several other children.
Booker was buried in the Pickle Cemetery near Sipsy-Fork in Monroe County, Mississippi. Even though he passed away relatively young, we are lucky to have a few photographs of him.
