    Aberdeen - Delma Joel Irvin, 60, died Friday afternoon at Veterans Administration Hospital in Jackson.  He was a native of Boyd, Texas, and had lived in Mer Rouge, La. since 1970.  He was retired from the office machine business, a veteran of World War II, and a member of the Church of Christ.
    Services will be at 10 a.m. today at the Chapel of Lann Memorial with the Rev. Johnny Hester officiating.  Burial will be in Center Hill Cemetery.
    Survivors include a daughter, [private]; two sons, [private]; three sisters, [private]; a brother, Robert Bently Irvin of  Hamilton; and four grandchildren.
