I have either seen or heard that Richard's middle name was either "Vaughn" or "Vernon".  He did have a nephew named "Vernon" but one of his grandsons has a middle name of "Vaughn".

Richard shot his arm off accidently while hunting or doing something else away from the house.  This would have been after 1901, during his second marriage.  He had to walk back home and carried his arm with him along the way.  They buried the arm.

Children of Richard V. Webb and Washatillie "Tillie" Temple

William Thomas "Wilse" "Jack" "W.T." Webb (md. unknown and Reva Virginia Fleming)
     Wilse and Reva had one son.  Wilse lived to the age of 72, when he passed away in 1966, in Houston, Harris County, Texas.  He made is living in the residential real estate business.

Fannie Miller Webb (md. Ossie Ladell McCarty)
     Fannie and Ossie married in 1912 in Houston, Texas.  They did not have any children.  Fannie passed away in 1985, at the age of 90.  She is buried in Lufkin Gardens, Lufkin, Texas.

Mary Ellen "Madie" Webb (md. J. Lynn Smith)
     Madie married Mr. Smith in Dallas and they lived around Dallas till she passed away in Riley in 1966, at the age of 67.  She had no children either.

Clifford Gayle "Bob" Webb (md. Joe Eva Hancock)
     Bob married Joe Eva in 1924 at the age of 22.  He was a painter and had served in World War I, though he must have been very young.  They had four daughters together.  He passed away in Whitney, Texas in 1966, at the age of 65.  Wilse had died in April, Madie in late June, and Bob in late October.  He is buried in Dallas.

Lula Blanche Webb (md. Homer William Cannon, Sr.)
     Lula Blanche married Mr. Cannon in 1925.  It is not known how, but their descendents were told that they Lula Blanche and Homer were cousins somehow.  They lived in Alto, Texas when they were married, and they were both tomato farmers.  But her health got bad and so they moved to Houston.  While there, he was a stationary engineer for the city of Houston, and for other companies.  He was in charge of the Houston Memorial Stadium and the city prison.  They had four children together.  She passed away in 1995, at the age of 92.

Sally Webb (md. Charles Howell and possibly others)
     Sally was thought to have married a few times, but she did not have any children.  She passed away on Christmas Day, 1966, at the age of 61.  She is buried in Dallas.

Ida Lou "Jackie" Webb (md. Charlie Curtis Starling)
     Jackie and Charlie did not have any children.  She passed away in 1994, in Angelina County, Texas, at the age of 86.  She is buried in the Starling Cemetery at Kennard.

Evie Webb (md. Robert F. Seale)
     Evie and Robert had one son together.  But Robert and their son were killed in an auto accident around 1950.  She passed away in 1991, in Harris County, Texas, at the age of 82.

Effie Webb (md. Charles Oscar Davenport, Sr.)
     Effie, a twin with Evie, also lived around Houston.  She and Charles had two sons.  She passed away in 1992, in Houston, at the age of 83.
