Rosa F. Scott
Rosa F. Scott

Rosa F. Scott, "Rosie", was born on May 4, 1870, in Lamar County, Alabama.  She was the second oldest child of Robert S. Scott and Dursdemona Dora Webb Scott.  She married William Hastings Camp in Monroe County, Mississippi on November 10, 1889.  He was eleven years older than her and had been married before with a few other children.  He was the son of Valentine O. Camp and Elizabeth Pickle Camp.

They had two children and not long after they married, he died.  This may have been about 1890 or a little later.  He supposedly was up in Thornburg, Arkansas, and that is where he is buried.  We do not know when Rosie passed away, but it was a good deal later.  She is buried in the Pickle Cemetery in Monroe County, Mississippi.
