"W.B." was born in November
of 1856, probably in Itawamba County, Mississippi. He was one of the
oldest children of Jacob Kuykendall Webb and his mother was probably Martha
A. Hogan (or Hoglan). His father and mother were both about 26 years old.
Though he was born in Mississippi,
by 1860, his parents had moved on west to Arkansas. He is found in
Hempstead, Arkansas on that census at the age of three, and it is there that
we see what the "W." stands for in his name. The rest of the time it's
just given as an initial. At some point not too far after 1860, his
mother seems to have passed away, somewhere in Arkansas most likely. His
father remarried at some point around 1870. After all, Jake did have
a number of small children and it was not surprising that he would marry
relatively quickly after his wife died.
We have not found them in 1870,
but W.B. would be about thirteen years old, and the family is probably still
living in Arkansas somewhere.
About 1879, somewhere in Arkansas,
W.B. married a girl named Eulalia, who was born in February of 1862, about
six years his younger. He was about 23, and she was about 18. The
next year, the young couple are found on the 1880 census in Conway County,
Arkansas:

I cannot find anyone else around
them who looks familiar. They may have been living near her parents,
but I don't know their names. Just a few years later, they had their
first child, a girl named Nanny E. Webb, born in January of 1884. They
had Ida in 1886 and another girl, Elizabeth "Bessie" Webb, in January of
1890. In 1892, they had their first son, Clarence E. Webb, and then
another child who died young. On February 7, 1896, they had a son whom
they named after W.B.'s father, Jacob Kirkendall Webb.
Shortly after this, they were found on the 1900 census in Yell County, living next to W.B.'s dad, Jake:

They are also found with the same information on the 1900 Soundex for Arkansas. It
is at this point that we lose track of W.B. We do not know when he
or Eulalia passed away, or even where they were living in their old age.
If anyone out there knows more about them, please contact me!!
Nanny E. Webb (md. ?)
Nanney was born in January of 1884 in Arkansas. She was
still living with her parents at age 16 in 1900, but we lose her after that.
Ida Webb (never married)
We have found Ida, apparently never married, in a cemetery
in Yell County. She was born on July 19, 1886, in Arkansas, and passed
away at the young age of 22, on June 27, 1909. She is buried in the
Harris Cemetery in Cordon Bottom, Yell County, Arkansas.
Elizabeth "Bessie" Webb (md. ?)
We don't know anything else about Elizabeth other than
that she lived to be at least ten years old, on the 1900 census. We don't
know what happened to her after that.
Clarence E. Webb (md. ?)
We also don't know anything else about Clarence other
than that he was born in November of 1892. We lose him after 1900 as
well.
Unnamed Webb (died young)
.Just a guess on the dates, but possibly born between
Clarence and Jacob, since there is a bigger gap between 1892 and 1896 than
exists for some of the other children.
Jacob Kirkendall Webb (md. Jeanie Migon)
Jacob was born on February 7, 1896, in Arkansas. He
married Jeanie Migon, who was born on December 22, 1894. She passed
away on September 17, 1969, and he died just a few months later, on December
22, 1969. They are buried in the Hundley Family Plot, which sits on
the Yell-Conway County line in Arkansas. It is not known if they had
children or not.
