The Family of Isaac Holland, His Possible Ancestors and Some Known Descendants:

Spite the fact Isaac had at least ten grandsons with the Holland surname, very few are the men still bearing Isaac Holland's surname in our days. As far as I know, there are only five men living in the USA, one in Belgium, and nine in Brazil, thus it is my fear the interest about our Hollands is fading. This page is an effort to share and exchange information with our Internet Cousins, estimulate research about Isaac Holland, and also, of course, find our other long lost Cousins.

The author of this website is Dalton Holland Baptista, a fifth great grandson of Isaac, born and raised in Brazil, the country where a branch of the family has moved to, after the Civil War. Living in Brazil makes research even harder than it is in the USA, thus most of the information here, comes from carefull research on internet, from kind help of Cousins in the US, and also from books, old letters and documents I have came across during these years.

As you know genealogy research never ends. When I started this site, I intended to have it in a very good shape before placing it on-line. Of course this proved unpraticable. Thus I decided to upload pages even if not really finished. Sometimes references are not included, and links may not work. I am working on it.
