HEPBURN MOONSHINE

Wedding bells have been ringing hereabouts during the past week as witnessith the following notice:

Married on the 14th of November 1888 at the brides home, by Rev. D. DODDS, Mr. C. W. SPARGUR, of Tribune, Greeley county, Kansas and Miss Maggie B. BLACK of Page county, Iowa.

The wedding was an exceptionally pleasant affair. The brides parents had decorated the parlors handsomely. On the wall of one side of the room was a wreath with the letters CS and MB, beneath the motto, on the floor was a rug with the picture of a dog on it. Directly, over it was a floral arrangement in the shape of a horseshoe.

The guests were arranged in the form of a horseshoe to face the bride and groom, as they stood on the rug while the ceremony was being performed. The officiating clergyman formed the toe cork of the horseshoe, as the bride and her attendant entered from the east and the groom and his man entered from the west. The matrimonial candidates met on the rug, and at once the clergyman performed the ceremony which united for life two of our most highly esteemed young people
