1.  SAMUEL MARTIN7 WATSON  (WILLIAM RUSSELL "BARLEY"6, JAMES LEMUEL5, JOHN4, SAMUEL3, WILLIAM2 WATTSON, SAMUEL1 WATSON) was born November 24, 1883 in Hardin Co., TN, and died July 31, 1966 in Hardin Co., TN.  He married MARY ETTA WILLIAMS July 19, 1905, daughter of HARTWELL WILLIAMS and MARTHA FESMIRE.  She was born June 04, 1885 in Henderson Co., TN, and died April 18, 1985 in Savannah, Hardin Co., TN.     

Children of SAMUEL WATSON and MARY WILLIAMS are:

              i.     MARTHA EVELYN8 WATSON, b. Private; m. THOMAS RYE FRAZIER; b. January 06, 1916; d. May 1962, Savannah, Hardin County, Tennessee.

             ii.     MARY NELL WATSON, b. May 10, 1918, Hardin Co., TN; d. May 28, 1931, Hardin Co., TN   Oakland Cemetery.

            iii.     ANNIE LAURA "MOODY" WATSON, b. Private; m. THOMAS RILEY AKIN, JR.; b. June 09, 1920; d. December 25, 1996.

             iv.     WILLIAM RUSSELL WATSON, b. April 18, 1912; d. 1998; m. (1) ELECTA LOWRANCE; m. (2) RUTH BRIDGES; b. Abt. 1912.

              v.     JAMES LEO WATSON, b. Private, Hookers Bend, Hardin County, Tennessee; m. PAULINE ETHEL ALLEN, October 22, 1945, Corinth, Mississippi; b. Private, Wardell, Missouri.
