This is an updated web site that includes the ancestry of both myself and my wife.  It is a work in progress and will get updated on a regular basis - hopefully.  I produced my first website in 2000 and had not updated it since 2004.  Since COVID-19 arrived in 2020 I have had a lot of time to do additional research and began to update this site again.

The title is based on my ancestry.  My ancestors settled in Indiana after making their westward migration from the East coast. Several of my lines were Quakers and I have discovered a line of Mennonites.  Recent research shows a line connecting to the Mayflower descendants but I have not verified this yet.

My wife's maternal side came throught Alabama and Louisiana, moved to Texas and Oklahoma before settling in Kansas. Her paternal side came from Kentucky and Tennessee, through Illinois and into Missouri.

My interest in Genealogy began in the late 1960's with a high school project and has grown throughout the years. Much of my early information came from family members, either dates they remembered, information from a family bible, or information about previous generations that had been handed down but never verified. The last 50+ years have been spent verifying ancestors, relationships, and other pertinent information.

A new feature I have added to this site is a SEARCH tab at the top of the page.  You can type in a name or just a surname and it will show everyone in my database with that name.

This web site is produced using John Cardinal's Second Site genealogy web site builder, version 8.01. My database is maintained using The Master Genealogist software, version 9.05.
