She was born Bessie Billings in Castile in 1894 and had resided here for the last 60 years.
Surviving are her husband, Howard; two sons, Lawrence of Perry and Seward of Conesus Lake; a brother, Moore Billings of Silver Springs; a sister, Mrs. Lillian Ziems of Buffalo, and two great-grandchildren.

Obituary published in the Western New Yorker, Warsaw, New York, March 1975.
