Barbara: My father is first generation German. We didn't know much about my mother's family. She was an only child and my grandfather was "difficult" and didn't spend any time around his family. Anyway, when she died in 2001, I got curious. Which led me to IL, MO, VA, MA, PA, OH and DAR and Mayflower. I do Lineage Research for the local DAR (research for DAR members).
I earned a Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology at Wayne State University in 1989. I've specialized in psychological evaluations. I work for Henry Ford Macomb Hospitals in MIchigan. I supervise their testing program.

We met at the race track where he and his brother were racing a car.

We live in Bloomfield Township, Oakland County, MI. No children. He needs a hobby. I've found mine in genealogy.
