The Pabst Brewing Company opened Whitefish Bay Resort in 1889 as a summertime outlet for their beer. The park had a Ferris Wheel, beer garden and other amusements to attract people, who came to the Park via Trolley. It was located near the 5200 block of North Lake Drive (today). In 1914 Whitefish Bay Resort closed.
