Eight children were born to them of whom seven survive, the oldest, George D. Alvord, having been killed in a runaway accident five years ago. The others are: Mrs. C. M. Luddington, Charles H. Alvord and Mrs. Henry Feigel of this city; Grove Alvord of North Manlius, Mrs. Frank R. Scoville of Green Point, Mrs. W. J. Robinson of Rochester and Dean Alvord of New York.
