This photo of the home in Moos um Buhl, Baden, Germany was possibly taken by Albert Friedman, son of Leopold, during his 1922 visit.
The house is known as "Knebels" on Mooser Strasse from the earlier owner/descendant of Nicolaus & Theresia (Knebel) Friedmann.
Josef Knebel married Anna Streibich. Anna, their daughters Maria Theresia and Mathilde are in the picture.
The original Friedmann home no longer exists but was known as "Botte-Schreiners" (messenger/carpenter signifying trades of the last owner, Mr. Haungs).

This is St. Dionys Catholic Church in Moos where the FRIEDMANN, KLOPFER, STREIBICH and other related families attended. It was built in 1784-88 on the grounds of an old chapel that was there since 1358. It was enlarged and renovated in 1910-12 and renovated again in 1975-77. Most families who attend this church have named a son Dionys.
