From Carroll County Historical Quarterly, December 1961. Note says record was found in the home of Mrs. Henry Fancher at Liberty in Madison County, made available by J. B. Bunch.

Muster Rool of Captain Larkin Bunch's Company B Infantry, 3rd Regiment Arkansas Volunteer Called in to service of the state of Arkansas by the State Convention at Fort Smith on the 22nd day of May 1861 to serve the term of Six months unless sooner discharged. The Company was orgainzed by Capt. Larkin Bunch in Madison County on the 22nd day of May 1861 and marched to Forth Smith where it arived on the 9th day of June 1861.

Note under remarks says "the company was recruitted by Louis W. Whiteley on the 29th day of July 1861."
