Below is one of my misteries. I was wondering if you could help. My Great Great Grandfather was William Henry Sheaffer or Shaffer(B. June 2, 1845). I have a photo album that on Page 2 shows the following picutre. It reads JB Shaffer (Father) family.

So what I am trying to figure out is the following:

1) Is this a Revolutionary War Picture? Civil War? Or some other war?

2) Where is this picture from?

3) What does JB stand for?
