Information from Guy Hutchinson's family:
Guy Hutchinson (senior) migrated to Melbourne, Australia in 1939. He brought with him his wife and their two little boys. His wife Grace was a mezzo soprano who had performed in many of the world's opera houses, and who had toured Australia with the Italian Opera Company. Her name was Strasberger, but she performed under the name Angelau. Their two sons were Guy Jr (who was born at Gorgonzola Italy, within 20 km of the great La Scala at Milan) and Jay Benjamin (born London, England).
Guy Hutchinson, Sr. died two years after his migration to Australia. Guys first and second families kept no contact with each other, and it was not until 1999 that Australian and American researchers pieced together the families of his two marriages.
Grace died in Melbourne, Australia October 1958.
