Wayne is in both Kane and DuPage Counties, remember that when searching for records.
Some of the children attend U46 Schools of Elgin, while others attend District 303 Schools of
St. Charles. I suspect a few with Wayne addresses may attend West Chicago schools.
Remember school boundaries and city or village boundaries are not necessarily the same. Children tend to associate with school mates.
Today Wayne is an affluent area with many beautiful homes and estates.
